Dairy Farmers Stop the Abuse of Milking Cows
Dairy cows are the hardest worked farm animals. and mothers. The only reason they produce milk is to feed their calves... but we steal their milk and deprive their calves of the love and affection, security that is their right as living, breathing creatures. They suffer abuse, neglect, illness. Seperation from all the calves they give birth to. Dairy cows living in a happy healthy environment can live for up to 25 years. But because of their hard lives, they are worn out by 4 or 5 years old. They will be sent to slaughter, where many cannot even stand up anymore. They are filled with fear, as they smell the blood of others who have had their throats cut, and struggle to escape when they hear the cries of the other cows. An absolute gruelling life and gruelling death, all inhumane and cruel. Cows are sensitive, and are sentient creatures, they deserve respect and compassion.
These farm animals are the forgotten ones, i feel so hurt that there is no human compassion for them, and it is taken for granted they are just milk machines.

A dairy cow's life is a continuous cycle of impragna-tion, birth, and milking to provide one thing only -- a constant supply of milk for human consumption and profit. She will be milked for 10 months out of the year, including seven months of each of her consecutive nine-month pregnancies. Two to three times a day, seven days a week, she will be attached to an electric milking machine, like just another cog in a factory. Then she will be returned to her cramped, narrow, concrete stall to do nothing but await the next milking. After her calves are stripped from her, she will be sent to a slaughter house. Is this the life we want animals to have? We have to speak up, and NOT accept this. Humans need to take a stand, as they can not speak for themselves. Protect what is right. Take care of the animals you consume. It's a god given right to do so.
There is no reason these cows should not be getting basic care and rights.

Please create humane conditions for this primary symbol of Motherhood, the milk cow. All Americans expect and require that any animals used in farming, dairy, or meat industries be treated with compassion, afforded dignity and respect due to all of God's creatures, and humane treatment. Stronger laws and supervision need to be created, and we'll make sure they are by our votes, and our activism. It will be to your benefit as a business to improve conditions for cows and calves now. Horrible! How can any rightful human insist that other animals do not care or love their babies?! How can they say they can't feel pain, hurt, sadness?! The mistreatment MUST STOP! We must be the voice to these poor, scared, mistreated animals!

State regulations make it near impossible for someone to own a cow and sell milk to their neighbors. Talk to your local poiticians. Family owned cows can receive the love and care that bigger, for profits outfits say is impractical.
I was absolutely touched and moved by the narration of cruelty imposed on cows and their calves..We humans are a sordid lot..calling ourselves as beings having the only right to know god..we inflict the worst kind of cruelty on hios own created living creatures like cows and other mammals and animals..for our own selfish reasons..There cannot be a bigger blot and shame on humanity and fie upon all the religious preachers and prophets and sons of gods and his messengers..if they allow such acts to go on and yet call themselves messengers of peace and brotherhood..It's the greatest sin mankind indulgesin and I have just one prayer to the almighty..Just come and wreck this sordid world once and for all. and get rid of all humanity..to begin all over again....
I read an article online about dairy cows all calves born male are turned over to slaughter for microwave dinners or they leave them to die.All calves born female they give a chance to grow.I also saw a a video online with this guy and a dairy cow he stuck her in the eye with a sharp object this kind of abuse is not necessary.Animals are very much like us they feel everything that happends to them.
