Delanie Ceretti has autism. So does her twin sister, Mackenzie. As of December 30, 2008, Delanie, who is just 5-years-old, will lose her funding for her IBI therapy. WHY? The Government needs to cut back on IBI funding. They are willing to write this child off at AGE 5, while her sister will continue to benefit from therapy. We have seen first hand that she has so much potential. We cannot let this happen. Please support our fight to help Delanie keep her funding.
Five-year-old Delanie Ceretti has been benefitting from IBI therapy. However, in one 1-hour session, the provincial government has deemed that she is no longer worth the funding. Her twin sister, Mackenzie, will keep benefitting from her own IBI therapy while Delanie will be forced to lose ground and not develop as she should.
We, the undersigned, want to see Delanie's funding reinstated. It is absolutely essential that she be given the chance to continue to learn and grow, like her sister.
We thank you very much for your attention to this important matter.
