Denmark has for several years ago banned wild animals in circus. Yet we see elephants, zebras, sea lions, camels and alpacas ..
An extract from an advertisement for Arena CircusLand, Slagelse:
"Circus Animals
Discover the the 3 circus Elephants, Horse show, Sealion show, and exotic show with Camels, Zebras and Alpacas. You can try pony riding and playing with the wonderful animals. "
This circus is even advertised on TV.
Their living conditions are among other things that they broken mentally to perform, and they are carried around in the trailer so small that they can not turn around. The large animals are chained.
The former Minister of Justice believed that the animals must remain in bondage in the circus. Now, Denmark has gotten a new Justice Minister, who we hopefully will take better care of animal welfare and has banned all animals in circuses.
Please help us get the animals out of circus by signing.

We the undersigned write to you to urge you to work for the circus animals' freedom. Animals in circuses live miserable lives, which in no way satisfy their natural needs. It can not be true that animals should suffer for cheap entertainment? Council relating to the keeping of special animals have advocated a ban, and it would be shameful to hand their recommendations ignored. The ban is supported also by Circus Benneweis and all animal welfare groups.
Denmark is known as a country that gives priority to high animal welfare and have banned wild animals in circus. Yet we see elephants in chains for several Circus. Arena CirkusLand has also camels, zebras, sealions and alpacas.

It has been noticed that the former justice minister believes the animals must remain in bondage in the circus. It disappoints us greatly, that a Justice Minister who claims that high welfare weights may hesitate in such an important issue. We are confident that you will change your opinion about circus, if you really get into their living conditions, from broken mentally to perform to the freight around the trailer so small that they can not turn around. There are many shameful facts about circus animal life.
