Denmark's Shame

Denmark's Shame

Denmark's Shame

DENMARK : WHAT A SHAME, A SAD SHAME.
THESE PICTURES HAVE TO BE SEEN AROUND THE WORLD. THERE IS NO CRUELER BEAST THAN MAN!

This brutality happens every year, Dantesque, bloody slaughter in the Faroe Islands, which belongs to Denmark .
A country supposedly 'civilized' and a EUROPEAN UNION country. For many people this cruel practice is unknown, how insensitive!
This bloody slaughter is just to attend Moz to 'show' entering adulthood! It's absolutely incredible that nobody dares to do something to prevent this barbaric act that is committed against Calderon, an intelligent dolphin who has the peculiarity of approaching people out of sheer curiosity.

On a group of islands just north of Europe, the traditional bloody whale and dolphin slaughter takes place every year. The Faroe Islands are a part of Denmark, where whaling is banned, but they have laws that are independent of Denmark's laws, so they are allowed to continue with this mass execution. Year after year, thousands of pilot whales, beaked whales and dolphins are chased into the bay by boats, where they are slaughtered.
Metal hooks are driven into the stranded mammals' blowholes before their spines are cut. The animals slowly bleed to death. Whole families are slaughtered, and some whales swim around in their family members' blood for hours. Whales and dolphins are highly intelligent creatures and feel pain and fear every bit as much as we do.

Forward this to everyone, PLEASE! Let the whole world know, AND MAYBE IT WILL REACH SOMEONE WHO CAN PUT A STOP TO THIS RIGHT NOW...

I am writing to urge you to stop the bloody whaling tradition on the Faroe Islands immediately! The Faroe Islands are a part of Denmark, which banned whale hunting. Therefore, it is unacceptable for the Faroe Islands to preserve separate laws that allow inhabitants to continue the whale slaughter. As you might know, whales are friendly, highly social and very intelligent mammals who suffer immensely when hunted and bled to death. They are forced to watch their families die while swimming around in the bloody water, waiting to be slaughtered themselves. The Faroe Islands and Denmark must immediately ban the slaughter. It is a Stone Age tradition in a modern world, and I urge you to use your influence to stop the massacre.

I can't believe that a "civilized" nation and people could agree with such kind of murderer ... it is a SHAME!! Is this the kind of intelingence that differentiates us from beeing a irratinal to be a rational animal??

These creatures are highly intelligent with a strong family unit - we share a kinship with them, well those of us that are civilised - they trust us. Shame on you Denmark - I am ashamed that you belong to the same human race where many of us do care.

Cadê a humanidade?

If the whaling has been banned in Denmark, why in Faroe Islands you still have laws that allow thousands of pilot whales, beaked whales and dolphins to be slaughtered?? Let's put an end to this bloody tradition today!

What on earth do they hope to accomplish by such senseless violence against these beautiful intelligent creatures. It's a crying shame that they have been getting away with this for so long, and it's time to put an end to this disgusting animalist behaviour.

I was shocked and nauseated that people would want their teens to "enter" adulthood by a killing spree!!! And the fact that they could stand and watch with their young children how beautiful helpless sea-animals are killed is disgusting! What would I give to be close to such an awesome animal..and to be able to touch it!
