DeviantArt should let their members be able to ban spammers ON THE SPOT, eliminating the problem instantly. If DA feels that they shouldn't be banned, they can undo the ban after looking up on it. DeviantArt should also keep reports on email addresses as to prevent them from coming back. If that email address has a history of being banned ONCE from spamming or any other problem, they cannot come back. I don't use FA or SA, but it should also apply to those websites also. It's time we finally actually take a step against spammers and trolls!

many deviants, including myself have been harassed by Jonathan112. he even goes as far as to lie and say he is a 24 year old collage graduate who works for Marvel comics. this is a lie. i am tracking his comments and telling the artists to ignore, block, and report him. i am trying to be a good deviant, but it would be alot faster if i could just ban him. perhaps there can be a system where if, for example, 5 deviants ask for a person to be banned, then that person will be banned. im sick and tired of deviantart trolls.

i only have one problem with what this is saying. what if these 'spammers' ban someone who doesn't deserve it, thus whoever is the victim having to wait for the deviantART.com admins to see their history and un-dan them. but i Do agree that something MUST be done here to help!
