DFG is proposing to close 19 of the 21 State Game Refuges and open them up to hunters.

THE FATE OF CALIFORNIA'S GAME REFUGE'S WILL SOON BE DECIDED December 1st Deadline to Submit Public Comments

With no public education or outreach, as mandated in SB 1166, and with no noticing (other than an obscure Dept of Fish and Game%u2019s (DFG) website), the DFG is proposing to close 19 of the 21 State Game Refuges and open them up to hunters.

THE CLOSING ANY CA State Game Refuges is unacceptable especially to open up to canned hunts. We need to urge an INCREASE of at least a doubling in size of the current meager 1,000,000 refuge designated acres%u2014which is less than 1% (matching the paltry percentage of hunters) in a state as large as California.

Please take a moment to read this  and realize that DFG has no business catering to "special interest organizations" to manage Wildlife. There are more compassionate, civilized methods available to manage wildlife..and raise money for the state for wildlife conservation...    http://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:7GX1y_jmvc4J:www.nocull.org/Documentation/HuntingDestroysEnvirnoment.pdf  Peter Muller 's Wildlife Management Proposal. WE are making a demand at this time for the government society to catch up to the year 2010.  If Hunters want to carry on their traditions of murdering animals being infected with prions, and causing another health epidemic, we will have to take issue with that in the near future, but for now..the Anti- Hunting Tax payers are insisting that a Government agency Stop working with a "Special Interest Group" AKA HUNTERS, and listen to the other 95% of the population, and STOP Killing our Wildlife and start managing it with REAL Conservation and Compassion for the Animals and Environment. To all:

We strongly oppose ANY closing of ANY CA State Game Refuges, and we urge an INCREASE of at least a doubling in size of the current meager 1,000,000 refuge designated acres%u2014which is less than 1% (matching the paltry percentage of hunters) in a state as large as California.

The Department of Fish and Game has no business catering to "special interest organizations" to manage Wildlife. There are more compassionate, civilized methods available to manage wildlife..and yes, raise money for the state for wildlife conservation.   http://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:7GX1y_jmvc4J:www.nocull.org/Documentation/HuntingDestroysEnvirnoment.pdf peter muller wildlife management proposal&hl=en&gl=us&pid=bl&srcid=ADGEESjUPbmAg6tQFssw_wy81wuVaE-jY8fYFFMvV9Oe50KExxhs9SrIbEaSD2_5NBxRvuatnivHUAzfcUzkShug43B12cO7c5TSvBHIzGspmM3nJEt7-OrJnCmuRnhFysghCyDboR1h&sig=AHIEtbR5fv2lruAv63hVxVTEtA0YOJXKnA        http://www.strieter-lite.com/cash.html      WE are making a demand at this time for the government society to catch up to the year 2010.  If Hunters want to carry on their traditions of murdering animals and being infected with prions, and causing another health epidemic, we will have to take issue with that in the near future, but for now..the Anti- Hunting Tax payers are insisting that a Government agency Stop working with a "Special Interest Group" AKA HUNTERS, and listen to the other 95% of the population, and STOP Killing our Wildlife and start managing it  with REAL Conservation and Compassion for the Animals and Environment.
