DNA-WE ARE APART OF THEM 2

Target:
REAL FATHERS/FAMILY STRUCTURE
Sponsored by:

Fatherhood is one of the most important aspects for a young child to experience, since their birth. we must understand the enormous value a REAL father has oppose to a sperm donor! the challenges we face we won"t alone any more for it's time out for how the system is design stacked against REAL fathers willing able and ready to participate in the lives of their children!
All too many times when a relationship no longer works out the child often times suffers twice, the initial breaking of the family then how their loving father is now protrayed thru the proceedings.
Time out for the across the board treatment one size fits all of good men who father their children! lets unite for this worthy cause an make change..change that affects our common circumstances.
By working to revise the child support guidelines we can bring forth equal obilgations on both parents, and work to stop the family holocust perpetuate throughout this country. aluding to parental alienation, Parental Alienation is the teaching of children of divorce or separation to harbor negative feelings and emotions toward the parent who generally does not have custody and does not reside in the same domicile. This is usually done in an effort for one parent to gain the respect and love of the children, while destroying the image and relationship of the absent parent. This phenomenon will generate feelings of hatred, ambivalence, and distance between children and the non-custodial parent. Our family court system does little to eliminate these occurrences, and although the parent affected is cheated of a normal relationship with the children, the real damage will manifest itself within the children.

Thereby creating the bias circumstances of custodial noncustodial parents. Which creates a very unequal ratio in the determination made by the judge within the guidelines. What we propose through strong advocacy is,
The redefining of a father's position in the family court by uitilizing the measures we have to revise the child support guidelines UNITY!
IT IS OUR GOAL TO get at least 10,000 names to show our unity for REVISING THE CHILD SUPPORT GUIDELINES.
After gathering adequate names we will present our petition to the federal courts for reviewing an the proposal of change in this area of the child support laws. THEREFORE REFORMING THE CHILD SUPPORT LAWS, causing equal justice across the board.
Thank you for your support in this very important matter.

By working to revise the child support guidelines in Georgia. For example, in the situation that each parent has equal income an expenses, and the court cannot determine which parent would have the greater support obligation. The court will make the determination which parent to appoint as the noncustodial parent for the purpose of paying child support. first problem, the court makes it's determination from a very bais stand point. The odds are stacked against a man from this point. There is not a definition or subsection devoted to shared parenting. Custodial arranement is usually referred to in a situation when the parents share phsical custody of the child 50% of the time. second problem, problem with this is usually there is a seperation an one parent has the children majority of the time. Therefore creating the bias circumstances of custodial noncustodial parents. Which creates a very unequal ratio in the determination made by the judge within the guidelines. What we propose through strong advocacy is, How can we redefine a man's position in the family court? And what measures do we have to revise the child support guidelines in Georgia? How much support should a noncustodial parent expect to pay? Well that question is difficult to answer precisely because guidelines vary among states and because courts may depart from the guielines. The percentage formulas differ from state to state. It's exactly due to this cause of allowing indiviual courts such lee way in their decsion making, That has our system in such a default status. What are reasons for ordering more support than the guidelines amount? Well this depends, in part, on what expenses the guidelines include. Some common reasons for giving support above the base guidelines amount include childcare expenses. High medcial or dental expenses of the child that are not covered by insurance. And voluntary unemployment or underemployment of the parent who is suppose to pay support. Expeneses the child was acustom to during the marriage. Problem: the court never includes a man's other children from previous marriage. Therefore leaving them out of the inclusion of available funds coming from that one man. We suggest by revising this portion of the guidelines gives way an consideration for all the children involved, once proven of their exsistance an his supporting them. How do courts set child support? Under Federal law, all states have guidelines to determine child support. The guidelines are formulas that consider the income of the parties, the NUMBER of CHILDREN, and perhaps some other factors. The formulas are based on studies of how much families ordinarily spend on child raising. The formulas TRY to approximate the proportion of parental income that would have been spent for support of the child if the family had not been divided by divorce. Problem: "The speculating of the calculating is also causing the issues of unfair Justice". The court needs to take into account the complete picture regarding indiviual, special circumstances. IT IS OUR GOAL TO REVISE THE CHILD SUPPORT GUIDELINES IN GEORGIA. After gathering adequate names we will present our petition to the federal courts for reviewing an the proposal of change in this area of the child support laws. THEREFORE REFORMING THE CHILD SUPPORT LAWS. Thank you for your support in this very important matter.

I'm a 52 year old male that has never been married, but when I read stories like Christopher Repp's below it isn't very encouraging. The courts are so stacked against the man in divorce and probably presided over by man-hating liberal feminist judges in most cases--or wiennie liberal guys. That *itch Judge Judy on TV comes to mind. In any case they are probably all very liberal in their politics. What I think our culture has done is make it too easy for THE WOMAN to walk out of a relationship. Unfortunately in our crazy culture if you're anything other than a white male, you're a minority which means you're a protected class. It isn't right, but very few conservatives are willing to take a stand against it.

It's time to stop financially punishing the non-custodial parent. I have my kids as much as my ex and I have to pay $1,378.00 in child support and $960.00 in day care a month. Completely insane and at times I just want to quit working for good. There is such an easy solution to what has been twisted into a complicated mess. Prorate child support based on both parents income and the amount of time each parent has the children, it's that simple. If one parent does not want to have the children at all then that parent pays full price, period! It's the responsibility of both parents to raise the children in every aspect, including financially!!! Children will be much happier if both parents are available for them, though that won't happen until the child support laws are equalled out and the non custodial parent does not have to spend all their time working to make ends meet. My kids are often dumped on me because she wants to go drinking when its her turn with the children but I get no relief for this??? I work 24hr shifts and can not be the physical custodial parent and I am being punished for this. I work 24hrs straight followed by three days off. I have my two girls 3 nights a week and just about every day off, except weekends when it's her turn. This translates into me spending more time with the children, paying for most of their meals, driving them around, having to buy clothes to dress them and accruing all the utlity expenses to take care of them, yet none of this alleviates my child support? How can this be so lopsided?? Please wake up and fix this nightmare!

I am the father of a 13 year old girl who i helped to raise 11 of those years with her mom. I moved out and got married 1 year 9 months ago and my child's mom cut me completly out of my child's life, because she says her child does not share with anyone.I want to provide for my child and be a major part of her life but her moms makes this impossiable to do for she keeps telling my child that I left her for another family and , none of this is true. I am so afraid that it may be too late for me because my child thinks that I walked out on her because of what her mom has planted in my baby's mind about me. I don't want to pay half of my income in child support before the courts give me a chance to even talk with my baby.Yes Yes sign me up!!!!

I am the custodial parent of two children and agree whole heartedly that the guidelines for child support are not equal. The amount received is minimal compared to the costs of raising children.
