Don't let AARP exlude Mike Gravel!

Target:

Sponsored by:
The AARP has unfairly decided to exclude Mike Gravel from it's presidential forum on Sept 20 in Davenport, Iowa. The AARP offered up a single, arbitrary criterion: He doesn%u2019t rent a campaign office in Iowa. According to Gravel's Official Website's forum, he now has a full time campaign office in Iowa. They should be willing to invite him.

As a senior citizen, Mike understands the concerns of elder Americans. As someone not beholden to the special interests, he is able to fight for seniors against the drug companies.

Earlier this summer the Human Rights Campaign concocted a similarly arbitrary pretext for excluding Mike from their presidential forum on gay issues. After a massive public outcry the HRC backed down and invited him. The result: Mike used the forum to advance the discussion about gay rights and earned the praise of numerous LGBT community leaders.

We call upon everyone who wants to hear a full discussion about the issues that affect older Americans to please contact the AARP and demand that they include Mike%u2019s voice.

Lets get him back in! Please sign!

Mike Gravel has great ideas! He could change this country. You are never too old to do anything. It is wrong for them to exclude anyone from debates or other political events.

i am a RP supporter and we are also facing the same unfair treatment. it is unjust and we can not stand for it! i am not farmiliar with Mr. Gravel, but the fact he is being excluded is just proof to be that he must be a candidate of the people like Dr. Paul. we can't let them get away with it! find out more at www.RonPaul2008.com "we the people" are speaking - if they won't listen, we'll make them! want to do more? contact: "giving it all for Ron Paul" - theunitedfreaks@gmail.com

Anybody, Who tune in on Mike Gravel site and listens to his arguments, of what needs to be done to preserve our democracy. All people need to be heard. AARP is being arbitrary. Is the member ship being represented. I 'm a member and "I like Mike" He's credible. We have been fooled to many time.

For months I have been getting invitations to join ARRP. Now I know why I have not joined. To silence voices of reason unamerican.

GRAVEL & KUCINICH. NO OTHERS!

It's pretty obvious that big media is again selecting our Presidential candidates. I actually took a Polling Point survey regarding the Democrat candidates, and Kucinich wasn't even listed...no wonder he polls low. Gravel makes me smile, I like his ideas, and I love the way he stirs things up. I'm now an independent and will only vote for non-incumbents with the hope we can start over. Fair's fair. Let all the candidates speak equally.

Please put Sen. Gravel in the debate. I was truly surprised and disappointed when I heard he wasn't invited. He voices a lot of concerns that aren't being addressed that could make this a better country. Even if he doesn't win the election his ideas should be added to the larger conversation. Thank you. How can the man poll if he isn't allowed to debate?

The NBC/Viacom corporate conglomerate is sucking up too much war-generated money to allow exposure of an antiwar candidate's views.

It is paramount that America allow any and all presidential nominees enter into the political debate if they have decent ideas about how to run America. Money should have very little to do with what happens. Unfortunately, that has been what all of the debates have been about, Money. Look out, because Ron Paul is raising booko amounts of money and then you will have to let him into the debates. Dave...

I am a 37 year old teacher with much respect for AARP. I feel strongly that Mike Gravel has important ideas that should be voiced in today's political climate. PLEASE allow him to debate!

OK, first off, if there is indeed ANY 'integrity' left in this 'so-called democracy' and then to straight out blackball Mike Gravel for his different approach, in my opinion is "THE MOST BRAINDEAD IDEA EVER! As far as Politics go.." I personally think that his complete and brutal honesty about his past and what he wishes for the American citizens, is a rare find. I have been watching all I can about this situation since I first heard. I am sure I will never live to see a candidate more worthy of a shot at the Election, for the rest of my life.. I am just so angry right now about this, I am chainsmoking.. Come on, people. Ask yourself this, "Do you really wanna push someone with no depth and of course, a carbon-copy of all the uptight, close-mindedness and less educated as our current President is now? I think you get my point, dollz.. !!!!!KEEP MIKE GRAVEL on the Campaign!!!!! After all isnt this supposed to be "The Land of the free???" Sorry about the rant, but that possibility of Gravel being "tossed aside" has made me VERY irked... Hope those douchebags pull thier heads out of their asses before it's too late and we and up with yet another Bush, or a personality like his...? Think about that.. I say, We all get like at least 10 ppl each to listen to him and read his myspace and watch all the points he makes, cause we all know not doing anything about it will just make it worse in the future, and those of us planning on becoming pregnant soon, I dont wanna bring a child into a world where they fear daily life as a whole, because of Bush's little hissy fit over Afghanistan and such.. Besides nothing will ever stop the constant wars, but I would bet $$ Gravel could try to find an answer, even if not for the other countries we get stuck "baby-sitting", at least we would be more focused on our own issues here in the US.. ok, I am done rambling, I am just very very peeved since I found this link.. We need someone with brains to run the country while still respecting our own privacy and finding different ways to apease the issues all over the world we get involved in.. "Gravel 08"!!!!!!

If Gravel doesn't become President, then this country will fall apart.
