Don't relax laws on hunting

Don't relax laws on hunting

Target:
10,000
Sponsored by:
Members of the National Trust have voted to relax their rules on hunting on Exmoor.

If the vote is adopted as trust policy, hunts will be able to follow sick or injured deer on to their land to kill the animal.

Trust members voted to allow hunting of stags at the Holnicote Estate, which forms much of Exmoor.

This is not on. Why should injured and upset deer be allowed to be tracked down and torn to bits by hounds?

This petition will be sent to the head of the national trust on completion. Urging for the laws on hunting not be slackened in anyway not now nor ever and to be made to understand that hunting of any kind is completely barbaric.

Please don't let these laws be a token gesture to keep the animal rights supporters quiet and well behaved. Not one living thing should die to satisfy the perverse whims of another, however these whims are rationalised or decorated.

no relax! no killing! hunters should be hunted (down) for a change ... so they might understand the stree, horror, terror they provoke to animals!

People can just use the excuse that the animal is injured whether it is or not. It's stupid to be lenient on laws like these when there are enough people breaking them as it is. They should be enforced, not 'relaxed.'
