Despite all of the posturing by politicians, oil, and plenty of it, exsists right here in America begging for our use. Unfortunately, many of the so called "environmentalists" would have you believe that we will perminently damage natural haibits if we do so. That, my friends is misinformation.
The type of drilling done today has little to no effect on the surrounding areas. Great precautions are taken to ensure that wildlife and plantlife are minimally affected.
We can reap the rewards of being less dependant on foreign oil if we act now. Just the mere theat of drilling our own land will be enough for OPEC to immediately start lowering prices.
Stop blaming the administration and big oil!!! Do something NOW!

Dear Congress:
We the people of America want real solutions to our oil crisis. We have grown impatient with the talk of failed alternatives and negotiations with OPEC countries. The answer is right here at home. Drill in Alaska, California, the Dakotas, and in the Gulf of Mexico and we will have solved our problem with oil.
The environmentalists that grab headlines do not represent the majority of Americans. We are here to tell you what to do....that is your job: To represent the will of the people.

We have been drilling off the coast of Texas for DECADES !!!! Beaches are pristine and commercial and sport fishing is great some of the best fishing is around the oil rigs acting as artfl reefs. Please show one oil soaked beach in Texas ? cant. end of argument Drill now. Quit sending our money to bad people. Drill here would lower trade deficit, strengthen dollar and create jobs, win win.

Time to quit sending US dollars to foreign countries. We need to drill for oil here in the US and help the US economy. We are concerned about Caribou and Polar Bears in Alaska, yet we import tons of oil from Canada and they are not the least bit concerned there? Why are Canadian Caribou and Polar Bears not enough of a concern of Canada to prevent them from making millions off of the USA? Come on folks, we have plenty of oil and both the Canadian and US wildlife are going to be fine. An oil drilling site is VERY SMALL and Alaska is VERY BIG. WAKE UP AMERICA!!
