Drop ALL Charges in the Yogurt Shop Case!
Michael Scott and Robert Springsteen have been in prison for nearly a decade, despite no physical evidence of their guilt, on the basis of false testimony, the "confessions" that they gave under police coercion - in Scott's case, at gunpoint, as is shown on video. Over 50 men have made similar "confessions" to their crime, many of whom did not even appear in court. Certain pieces of evidence that would have been essential to the defense of Scott or Springsteen were not even tested by DNA analysts. Finally, the fingerprints and DNA found at the scene point to a still unknown perpetrator, NOT SCOTT OR SPRINGSTEEN, by the state's own admission.
We, the people of Texas, demand an end to this injustice and that the charges against the innocent Scott and Springsteen be dropped, so that they may return home to their waiting families. The guardians of the law have the power and the duty to put a stop to this wrongdoing - PLEASE FREE SCOTT AND SPRINGSTEEN.

I believe that Robert Springsteen was in the wrong place and wrong time, if he was even there at all! As young adults it is very easy to end up around people, and then they do something very wrong while your there. At that point you are scared and shocked of what just happened. Then you question yourself if you should tell, or let someone know. That is a hard decision, because you don't know what will happen to you. Leaving state and going back to the place you call home, with friends and family, and keep your mouth shut, would be what an inocent person would do in that kind of state of mind. And now there is no evidence pointing other wise! If they could find something that says different, thats another story!
I have known Mr. Springsteen and his family since he was a small child. It is sad that despite overwhelming evidence that he is not guilty that he is still incarcerated. He deserves justice in this matter.
Scott and Springsteen are innocent. Attorney Eric Moebius correctly analyzed the Yogurt Shop Murders case. The murders were a coordinated effort for highly profitable insurance claims.

In watching the actions of the APD and District Attorney's office, it has become very clear that the truth does not mean anything, just the convictions, no matter how they get them. I understand homicide has someone in custody that they are trying to get to testify against these men, but that person states they were not even in the vicinity. APD has offered the deal to dismiss th false charges they have on this person if they will testify. U also understand they do this when they have no other recourse or evidence. God Luck guys. Stand strong. God is on the way.

The case against these innocent young men should be opened and investigated as to the DNA and other pieces of evidence essential to their defense and innocence. They have been incarcerated long enough while the real person or persons go free.
Bert's place is with the people that know and love him. Let God be his gatekeeper not the law of men without all things considered. Let his term end and bring him home this won't be the last time I write on his situation.
This is crazy!!! No physical evidence!, let them boys go!!! It was wrong to charge these boys in the first place but now to keep holding them when there is not physical evidence what so ever against them. Let these boys out to try and enjoy what life they have left. Shame on the law enforcement that did this in the first place. I was brought up to respect the law and abide by it, and then the law turns around and does this to innocent people. If you cant trust the law who in the world can you trust? This is cruel and inhuman treatment.
I pray that justice will finally be served for Bert and Mike. Enough is enough! Set them free and find the people who really committed these horrific murders.

We have been friends of the family for 33 years. His mother was in my Sunday School Class. We have know Bert since birth and cannot believe he would do such a thing that he is accused of. So, we gladly sign this petition.
