Pony-skins are taken from the bodies of very young foals (baby horses,) PMU and Nurse Mare Foals, who are the unwanted by-products of the two industries.

i believe that horse slaughter is a real life horror to every day horses. it needs to be stopped. I'm happy that there are not longer any legal slaughter facilities in america, they just make me so mad. I watched what happened to the innocent animals and it enrages me... i have the strong desire to storm in there and grab the dagger or the gun (whichever they are using) from them and yell at them to stop what they are doing. whenever they finish killing a horse i usually hear cheering and clapping in the background of the movies i have watched... that make me even angrier.
