Enact Youth Outreach Day

Target:
The President of The United States, Barack Obama
Sponsored by:

We the members of Invisible Youth Network would like to see that Children all over the world are recognized. How can we do that? By having a National Event.

We at Invisible Youth Network, would like to see a Youth Outreach Day becoming a National event to be held every second Saturday of October. In doing this each community can put on a Fair, Cook-out, Craft-sale or other Event. They would raise money for their at risk and homeless children and also if they want donate to an organization for homeless and at risk youth.

We will be writing Representatives to enact a National Event on the Calendar for Youth Outreach Day to be celebrated every second Saturday of October & would be most gratefully of your support for this proposal. There are a lot of homeless and at risk youth in the United States alone. In fact it is estimated there are approximately 1. 5 million. If we can Enact this event here in the USA, We at IYN believe that other Nations will do so & we may start to truely address the hardships faced by Homeless & At Risk Youth around the Globe.

Despite our motto "Advocating for America’s Youth," our endeavours are focused on all homeless and at risk youth with no regard to their geographic location.

Mahatma Gandhi said, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world," and with that in mind, The Invisible Youth Network envisions better lives for children who cannot see it themselves.

Yours faithfully

Take a stand against the issue at hand. Let's all do what we can to improve the statistics for the homeless.

It would be wonderful to recognize our nation's homeless and at risk youth by having a national event for them. Communities across the nation could become involved in various ways... the possibilities are endless. Our youth would benefit tremendously from this event. I think it's an excellent idea and I hope more people sign this petition.

Youth are being left to flounder with mainly the company of electronic games and bizarre videos - what they need is the caring and safe, trustworthy help of good adults and other youth.

We must do something for these young people. If doing so and we change even one life for the better then it is worth it. the more lives we help and improve their views and outlooks then we are making great change for the future. I can still remember programs that were there for my children and also there for my brother, our friends and I though none of us were homeless it still made us feel like we had worth. This type of program will hopefully do the same for these young people. Peace and Blessings, Rev. Robert E. Spiritwalker Murchison, R.Pp.
