It affects people in a horrible manner, by flip-flopping how much sun we all end up getting. Our auto-aerobic immune-systems suffer, thus the flu.

This outdated change in time is no longer needed and disrupts rather than enhances business. We waste more resources having to monitor networks, computers, and ensuring that processes that run across time zones are not interrupted.

This is a disrupting practice! There is no longer any practical use for this stupid, insipid, mindless... did I mention DISRUPTIVE... practice!! You have gone too far, for too long. I think the stupid politicians simply do this out of habit. Take it away! Shoo! Be gone! I don't mind the sun setting at 10:00 p.m. in the summertime! Please, let us have this!! You are scum if you don't!

Try having California's DST our Idiots at the capitol feel we should be special and change ours at a different time then everyone else in the U.S. Just give me one time, no clock changing!!! If our law makers would quit wasting time on stupid ideas like DST you would save more energy.

Daylight savings is simply unnatural for the human body and is now not needed. It affects my body and overall health. With all the healthcare issues Americans face right now, we could use one less thing to worry about.

It doesn't help anyone in this country enough to matter, but it probably costs this country millions in productivity for every other guy that shows up late to work and millions in gas for every third guy who has to drive back home because he showed up an hour early.

Let's be honest...Nothing significant is really being SAVED from an energy use standpoint. This concept is outdated and no longer needed.
# 39:

The time needs to be left the same all year round.
# 38:

There's 24 hours in a day, no matter how you slice it. Stop screwing around with this antiquated idiocy.

I want each time zone in the U.S. to be on permanent standard time. I think setting our clocks forward once a year to try and save energy is bad and I don't think it is very effective. I hope dst comes to an end very soon and we will all be on standard time.

Daylight Saving is like cutting one end of a blanket and sewing it to
the other end to make it longer. Had I been around when Benjamin
Franklin came up with the idea, I would've told him to go fly a kite.
Whatever energy that is saved one hour into sundown is spent one
hour into sunup, so what good is it..it saves nothing.

There are 24 hours in a day, not 23 or 25. As a programmer, I waste a lot of time refining my applications to accommodate this ridiculous tradition.

We don't change the clocks here in AZ and I love that! We've lived all over the US and England and Canada and like it here with no time changes to get used to!

Please, please, please stop messing up the time. This year with the "Spring forward" coming so early, we had so many people late to work, and showing up not ready to work because the time change messed up their schedule. EXTREMELY unproductive!

I have never been able to any real advantages to Daylight Savings Time. It certainly does cause problems when dealing with children, animals, etc. If it has been proven that there is any advantage in energy savings I would feel differently, but it is my understanding that there has not been.
# 22:

Daylight savings time only disrupts the lives of children and adults who have difficulty without structure in their lives.

There is already much research showing that DST is bad for the health (causes more heart attacks) and it actually WASTES more energy. Last year the government finally admitted to the USA that the increased DST was added because of studies showing that it is good for the economy because people shop more when it is lighter out. (Getting out of work for example and having more time afterward to shop.) We need to go back one hour and leave it that way!
