End Human Rights Abuse by Newmont Mining Corporation

Newmont Mining Corporation, based in Denver, Colorado, operates the largest gold-mine in Latin America in Cajamarca, Peru.  They have contracted the private security agency, FORZA, to protect the Yanacocha Mine there, but FORZA is implicated in many human rights abuses.  One example of their abuse can be seen in the documentary film "The Devil Operation".  Newmont needs to assess the violations committed by their security agency and take proper action.
We, the undersigned, respectfully petition Newmont Mining Corporation  to review its contract with the private security agency known as FORZA at the Yanacocha mine in Cajamarca, Peru; and in light of this review, taking into account the mounting protest by the Peruvian people and the international community against FORZA's abuse of human rights, to determine the likely cessation of employing FORZA.
Thank you.
