Expand the age discrimination law

Expand the age discrimination law

Target:
U.S. Congress
Sponsored by:
Small companies still want to set age limits and discriminate against senior citizens and other workers above the age of 40.  They know fair and square that they are NOT on American Idol and they needn't have to set age limts at 28.  It is just plain stupid to deny well qualfied people that are over the age of 40 or 50 to work.

Small places in the workforce still think it's funny to set age limits and they know it's stupid.  There are older workers who have the strength of a 20-year-old.  And there should be no reason at all to set age limits in the first place.  Places of work like that ought to be fined thousands or even millions of dollars for age discrimination.

And, we are probably more responsible not only in the job we do, but we are committed to showing up for work everyday and on time.

When your manager begins using terms: Your speed isn't what it's suppose to be. Compared to what? You made a mistake! So does he/she.

take the power away from all employers, to pick and choose, their employees!!! They get the next person on the list, no applications, no discrimination, no requirements!!! Employers, are responsible for all training!!! disabled workers, will be reclassified, and rehabilitated!!! job's could be classified, according to weight limits, I.Q... but all workers, will also get the same hourly wage!!! It's the only way to level the playing field, to be equal and just for all, the system has been abused for too long, for there is nothing equal with equal opportunity!!!
