We the undersigned are tired of the Rove like tactics being used by the Republican Party to get John McCain elected.  We also believe the misleading statements given by John McCain on issues are more than misleading, they are lies.

We the undersigned believe that the media is responsible for fair and accurate reporting of the facts in the 2008 election and that each candidate should be given equal coverage, whether good or bad, without either a Republican spin or Democrat spin.

Honesty is the bedrock of the United States.

Thank you..

What Rove and McCain are doing to this election should be illegal

I do NOT appreciate anything they're doing (McCain)

May the best man win. Let the people decide the vote not Bush's brother in Florida.

NO. I appreciate the fact that Barack Obama is being as smooth as he is through it all.

I have always questioned why those who say they desire to protect the lives of the unborn, find it so easily to kill our children once they are born. Thousands of coffins, filled with the silenced lives of our young men and women, cry for justice because their murder was due to a war we should never have fought and which still today is not clearly directed. At home, these propagators for the sanctity of life show no sanctity FOR life as they ignore poverty and seem to be untouched by all the children whose dreams have been crushed by it. They are untouched by the lost potential of millions of children enslaved by an educational system that does not meet their needs. They find it easy to ignore the cries of the hurting children who have not health care. By their neglect, they kill thousands of our children everyday, even more than abortion does, and yet they profess to hold the high ground. I refuse to any longer listen to their hollow and obfusive rhetoric. It is nothing but lies. When they begin to care about ALL the children, and not just some, then I will listen.

No They have nothing to offer but smoke and mirrors. Theirs is the party of death. Death to young men and women who are sent over to the killing fields so that men of greed and power can fulfill their own lusts for more. Theirs is the death of the environment, something we must protect if we are to sustain life on this plant. Theirs is the death of our children through poverty, poor education and inadequate health care. So if you want to choose LIFE, vote Democrat. If you want MORE DEATH, then vote Republican.

I am voting for diplomacy and ending an irresponsible war. I am voting for equality in education and better education overall because every problem we have can be solved or alleviated through education. I guarantee that's its easier to hold people responsible after teaching them HOW to be responsible-ex. a simple personal finance class in the beginning of high school. I am voting for green technologies and renewable resources. It's selfish to not consider future generations. I wish for a healthcare system similar to that of France, Japan, England, Germany, or most any other industrialized nation, that doesn't have insurance companies PROFITING off of HEALTH. Reprehensible. All that I believe in and wish for are most likely to happen with an Obama administration. A McCain administration would be the antithesis.

I apologize for voting for Bush in 2004. I was Republican, but it's clear that there is nothing they can offer us. The more I hear them, the more I am disgusted. All I hear are lies and deliberate misleading. I begin to think about how there souls must hurt after spewing so much trash. They SHOULD be debating about our future! It's downright disrespectful to every citizen of America, whether they fall for it or not. Everyday, something else cements my departure from the GOP forever, and I'm only 22--they've just lost a lifetime of votes.

I am so disgusted with the republican party tactics. They would sacrifice our country for their own ego. You reap what you sow and all the lies, deceit and dishonor you work will all come back on your party. I don't anticipate casting another ballot for any other republican candidate.

I demand the media and the candidates (I'm looking at YOU, McCain) stick to the issues and leave the distractions out of this.

I'm so sick of McCain and his cronies twisting everything that Barack Obama says into something devious. I'm tired of smears.

I feel like a child caught in the middle of a nasty divorce and custody case, and the media isn't making it any easier. Are ANY of you unbiased anymore at all? It's impossible to find a unbiased source of news. Well, there's always C-Span. Our nation is in the toilet and someone's getting ready to flush. Are we going to allow another election to be decided by who can get the downest and dirtiest (think Karl Rove)?

I lost much respect for McCain after he picked a VP he had only met once. As a woman, I do not like his VP choice at all. The kind of person who would enter a beauty pageant is not the type of person I would want in the top echelon of government. More importantly, Palin's apparent dishonesty is there for all to see (i.e. billing the taxpayers for over 300 days of non-existent "travel"; attempting to fire a state trooper and a librarian, and then denying it; hiding her daughter's reasons for missing five months of school and then showing up with a baby; aggressively supporting the "bridge to nowhere" and then claiming to be a reformer against earmarks, PULEEZ!!!). I also really really dislike Palin's cruelty toward animals (authorizing the extermination of wolves from aircraft, etc).

I had hoped for better from McCain. I am disappointed in him.

I barely recognize the America where I grew up and have lived for 56 years! 9/11 (7 years ago tomorrow) changed many aspects, but it was the Bush administration which turned a unified country into a divided one and now has driven our nation into a ditch. Because of the negative and bullying influence of Bush, Cheney, and Rove, and their screaming sarcastic, cynical choir, Limbaugh, Coulter, Hannity/FOX, etal, I have found myself depressed and disillisioned for the last 7 years and literally considering a move to another country. I lost several good friends as a result of the Bush/Rove influence -- I watched otherwise intelligent friends turn into people I no longer knew as they succumbed to the Bush/Rove manipulation and walk lock-step, like a robot, preaching the same rhetoric, hate, and indifference to everyone who was NOT a white, Christian, heterosexual, financially successful Republican. Barack Obama has brought us a breath of life and hope that we can turn our country back around. The word 'fair' has not been seen in our country since Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh started moving the Republican spin ball down the court in the early 90's. It's time to stand up for change. It's why I've gotten involved locally and do what I can by signing on to petitions like this. Anything to stop the bias and win-at-all-costs Republican mean-machine! Anything to stop the decay and deterioration of our freedoms, rights, and pursuits of a more just and respectful society. Elections, as in all things, should be about fairness, honesty, and integrity. Those who would undo that process should be stopped.

I have no appreciation for the Republican adminstration or the McCain/Palin ticket! None, nada! The mean spirit continues. People should recognize their limitations--Palin needs to recognize hers and her unsuitability to be one heartbeat away from the highest office in the land. Ohgawd, I hope our fellow countrymen are not that stupid again to vote in this couple of twits.

Horrible! More of the same Karl Rove tactics.....how can they be the party of change when they say this campaign isn't about issues? What the heck IS it about then? How can they stand there and make-up so many falsehoods about their candidates records? I hope Americans are smarter than that....if not, God help us all!

I am in total disbelief for what this country is falling for. I am sick of Sarah Palin and hope we have enough time to continue to call her on her "dirt". She is not who she says she is and the media is busting out some moves. When did we become the United Stupids of America? I am not one of them and I hope Obama/Biden come out swinging. So much for being a nice guy!

I am so digusted with the Republicans. I never wanted 8 years of Bush and I don't want 4 more. McCain and Palin are more of the same and perhaps worse.

With channels like Fox News and ABC giving such a Republican spin, it's hard to tell the truthful facts through the biased lies. I usually flip to other channels when CNN isn't reporting on the election at the time, and I am sickened by the tactics used by Karl Rove that inhibits fair, balanced coverage.

The Republicans are employing their same, dirty tricks that they've used for generations. It's time they get a new playbook, because we are tired of all the crap you've been throwing at us.

We would appreciate journalistic integrity and substantive reporting regarding the issues. Instead, we are often presented with a lot of petty rumors from the INTERNET and senseless sensationalism. Your ratings depend on our viewership and we the viewers want substance... not the latest gossip.

Its so unfortunate to see that lies and smears and misinformation is once again, the fuel of the campaign. I recall McSame agreeing to a campaign that would not rely on smears and negative campaigning. YET, this is exactly what has been happening all summer long to date... No integrity! If we can not trust his words now... why should we trust him to be the agent of change and the maverick he now claims to be. All the World is watching us! How are we representing to the WORLD that we are the Global LEADER that they should trust and follow?

Please put an end to the lies and say anything tactics. Also the divisive talk about sexism and racism any time someone makes a comment--that everyone know was not meant to be either. The tattling and school yard behavior is demeaning to all.

The Republican ads are dishonest/often total lies and the one about "kindergarten sex education" is disgusting. Those involved should be ashamed. Rove does not have ethics---and I think McCain has lost his when I see him allow ads and comments like these.

I don't care if you fact check both sides, if you point out discrepancies in what is real and what is being said you are doing your jobs. So do them!
