Fans For Chris Coulson as Tom Riddle Jr.

This petition was started as a way to show our appreciation and support for Christian Coulson as Tom Riddle Jr in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
We the undersigned would like to see Christian Coulson reprise his role as Tom Riddle Jr. in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. We understand that his age may be an issue, but we the fans feel he is capable of portraying the character from his mid-teens on. Yes it is true that each person ages differently, but Chris has that youthful look that we feel works to his advantage. His acting as Tom Riddle was spot on and we feel he would be an asset to the movie.

Through the years, many actors have portrayed younger characters than their actual age. Here are a few examples:

1. Alan Rickman, 61 (born in 1946). Plays Severus Snape (who's supposed
to only be about 47 or 48) and plays him convincingly I might add. :-)

2. Michael J. Fox, 46 (born in 1961). Starred in the movie "Teen Wolf" playing a teenager (1985). He also played a teenager in the movies "Back to the Future (1985), Back to the Future 2 (1989) & 3 (1990)."

3. Ralph Macchio, 46 (born in 1961). Played a teenager in "The Karate
Kid." (1984) And played a young college student in "My Cousin Vinny." (1992)

4. Gabrielle Carteris, 46 (born in 1961). Played a teenager in the TV
series "90210." (1990-2000)

5. Luke Perry, 42 (born in 1965). Played a teenager in the TV series "90210." (1990-2000)

6. Just recently in Goblet of Fire, Clemence Poesy was 23 when her character's supposed to be 17.  And Stanislav Ianevski was 20 when his character was supposed to be 17.

7. Shirley Henderson, 42 (born in 1965). Played teenage ghost Moaning Myrtle in Chamber of Secrets and Goblet of Fire.
