this was a photo of the moment leading up to the Sectusempra scene in HBP, which has only become the latest in Warner Bros.' neverending string of Potter film gaffs.

Fans to Fix the Harry Potter Films

Target:
Warner Bros.
Sponsored by:

Over the past eight years, we Potter fans have watched our favorite characters be left on the cutting room floor time and again  We have seen them dressed in fashions that range in styles from fantastical to casual with no hint at continuity.  We have been forever tainted by the Equs scandal.  We have waited on pins and needles for the delayed release of Harry Potter 6, only to find that Warner Bros. has taken a drastic departure so far removed the plot and characterization of the book that a tragic martyr will as of July 17,2009 be branded a maudlin buffoon in the eyes of Potter audiences.  It has become increasingly clear that the fans must act to  thwart any furure snafus on the part of Warner Bros.

We the undersigned believe that Warner Brothers Studios has egregiously mishandled the adaptation and film production of the seven Harry Potter books.  We feel that the series's themes of love, forgiveness, redemption, duality, comaraderie, etc. have become progressively overshadowed by measures on your company's part designed to cut costs and hike profits.  As such, we the undersigned pledge to boycott the remaining three Harry Potter films as well as anything else bearing the Warner Bros. brand unless  the blatant liberties with the Harry Potter plot are corrected.

The worst thing they have done is shortened the films. every time i watch them things have been cut out and the plot moves too quickly.

they should make the films longer. i wouldn't mind sitting in the cinema for an extra hour or two, to see one of my favourite childhood books done justice
