Felix Batista - 100 Days of Silence

Target:
President Obama Visit & Talks in Mexico MUST include Batista Case
Sponsored by:

The 100 Days of Silence petition evolves as the Case of Felix Batista evolves with the Power of Politics.

On Thursday, April 16th, 2009, President Obama will be visiting Mexico and meeting with President Calderon.  The White House Staff Member in charge of the President's agenda is aware of the Batista case and the request to include his name on the agenda points.  This is due to the efforts of Congresswoman Ilena Ros-Lehtinen's direct communications with the White House.

We want a guarantee that the Batista case will be on that agenda.

Join us in ensuring that with this visit and all visits moving forward, ANY and ALL U.S. Officials visiting Mexico include The Batista Case as part of their agenda until there is resolution on this case.

In addition to the Batista case, the agenda of ANY and ALL U.S. Official visiting Mexico MUST include measures to ensure the safety and security of Americans who travel to Mexico and the safety and security of the Mexican community.
This petition will be forwarded to Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, who has signed the petition herself, and continues to represent the Batista family until there is resolution on this matter.

Thank you for your continued support and positive thoughts. For updates on the Batista case, please log onto www.Felixbatista.org

Together and with strength, we will bring our Felix home!!!

Let us remember....On the 100th Day of Felix's abduction, a letter to the 'People of Mexico' was published in top Mexican political newspapers...making the front page of one.  This letter from the family was published to gain information or leads or tips to help with the investigation.  We, the family, continue to strive to get information.  We want our government to help us get those answers...we want Felix home!

I met Felix in 2008 and dined with him. He addressed a gathering of my clients - multinational corporations with overseas personnel - in Las Vegas, delivering the best most insightful presentation I had ever heard about personal security abroad. He is a gentleman. Felix, you are still in our thoughts and prayers. - Martin and your friends at ORC Worldwide.

I am really sad and frustrated about the lack of attention on this situation. I knew Felix and his wife Lourdes in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1981. I worked for Felix in the 1st Squadron 10th Cavalry Regiment when we were both young officers. He is a cultivated, intelligent, and sincere person. I pray for his wife and children as well.

I wish for Mr. Batista's safe return as well as that of other kidnapped people who are still missing. Drug Cartels, and Drug lords must be stopped, the violence they cause is destroying not only Mexico but the whole American continent. This issue must be addressed as a threat to the U.S. but to the entire continent.

Felix Batista's kidnapping is representative of an endemic problem in a country where corruption rules. There are hundreds of other similar cases which are also as yet unsolved. It is a travesty for these central American countries that nothing is done. It will be the ruin of these countries if this sort of lawlessness is not quickly controlled by the rule of law, honesty, justice and integrity in these cultures. Godspeed and best wishes for the quick, safe return of Felix and all others in this terrible predicament.

Snow falls upon a hill, springtime will erase the chill. All things begin ti grow, fall comes and there soon is snow. Through all the wonders of space there is only one place We can all live in hamony. See all around how earth can abound With life so amazing and free. We have one world, one place that we call home And it's the only world we have to call my own. So let's begin taking care, of the world that we all share. And let it thive, let it shine, let it grow.
