We the undersigned ask that you do something to set animal abuse laws. The animal abuse in your country is horrendous. The horror needs to stop. To many animals are dying unimaginable deaths in your country and there is nothing being done about it. Buy setting laws it will decrease these horrors greatly. The dog and cat abuse has to stop. Dogs are supposed to be man's best friend, dogs save lives, they lead the blind, and they stick by us no matter what. i don't understand hoe someone could eat their own pet. You cannot compare it to eating cows and pigs and chickens, and although I'm against that too, i know that those animals were meant to be eaten but not dogs, dogs were meant to be our friends and companions not our food. I am very fond of dogs because my dog saved my life and gave up hers. I don't know how someone could bring themselves to hurt such adorable creatures, they feel pain too you know? It seems that when they're killing the dogs they feel nothing and have no compassion whatsoever and that is just sick and inhumane. Serial killers start off by torturing little animals, so does that mean that China is full of serial killers? I know that not everyone in China eats dog meat and that a lot of people are against it so i don't completely hate China. Killing dogs is not the answer to ending the overpopulation, what if that were our answer to everything? It's just not right. What sickens me the most is that they kill dogs in the markets in broad daylight where everyone can watch, they don't even care about what effect this might have on the children that witness it, this could lead children to believe that it's ok to hurt animals, and that could lead to them hurting other people and then in the end they won't care about death anymore and they'll simply feel nothing anymore.

I cant understand why the animals have to suffer the barbaric cruelty they under go ...having witnessed the videos of animals been skinned alive ...caged and treated in such appauling conditions, and fed too zoo animals whilst they are still alive it is completely and utterly inhumane and absolutely NOT necessary. Ok if animals need to be slaughtered consider their welfare and do it properly and quickly to cause as little distress to the animal as possible. I have now made a pact NOT to purchase any items made in CHINA until I am assured that this cruelty has stopped and your workers show more respect to animals and the laws in China are changed...it must happen now...it is barbaric and cruel ...get a grip on reality CHINA and become a civalised caring nation

Believe or not animals feel pain too. How would you like to be skinned alive for your fur, or maybe beaten into a semi-concious state and tortured to death, or maybe kept in a cage waiting to be slaughtered in the most inhumaine ways. If I had it my way, I would reduce and hopefully ban all imports from your country to make you realize that you are only as big as the rest of the world makes you. As you keep this act up and piss off the wrong people, and I garantee that as more and more people become aware of this, your economy will suffer the consequences.

I understand that you need to eat to survive. But could you please not hurt these poor animals to survive? I suggest that you eat some, and let most live. However, please treat those meant to be eaten well, and then, kill them humanely.
