We urge you to take the full extent of judicial action against these soldiers. Our enemies will say what they will against us, but when it's our own boys' actions doing the talking, it's much more powerful and deplorable.

If its not bad enough my tax dollars are already wasted on a endless war killing thousands of innocent people but to have to pay a US solider to kill innocent animals for no reason is an outrage and he has no business being a part of the US Army. As a 27 year veteran of the United States Air Force, I was shocked, appalled, and sickened when I heard of this atrocity. I can not and will not watch the video showing this twisted act. I also can not believe that a member of the US Armed Forces would do something like this. Although I was never in combat, I don't think this should be the excuse to use for these types of actions. Animals can not control where they are born, live, or what happens to them. They most certainly do not have a voice and can only scream and yelp when something horrible is happening to them. There needs to be additions to the Uniform Code of Military Justice that punishes service members when they do these cruel acts.

I was so upset by this incident that I had nightmares about it and it still makes me cry. There is no excuse for this behavior. My husband served in Vietnam and in Thailand and he never had any desire to kill a puppy just for sport, so being in war is certainly no excuse.
