Fund the Findlay Creek elementary school project now!

The need for an elementary public school in the Findlay Creek community has become a significant issue for this community given the rate of expansion of this housing development.  The Ottawa Carleton District School Board recognizes the need for a new school and it has advised the Ontario Ministry of Education of the urgent need for a school in this community in 2006, 2008 and more recently in 2011.  The Board would like to open the school in 2014.  In order to do this however, the Ministry of Education must provide funding for the project.  It is time that the Ministry of Education earmark funding for the school!  Sign the petition, which will be sent to the Minister of Education, the Honourable Leona Dombrowsky, and express your support for the school.
