Muchas gracias,
============================================== Honorable Officials of Spain:
Animal cruelty is not acceptable as entertainment or tradition in the 21st Century. Yet the Toro Jubilo annually occurs in Medinaceli, a province of Soria, Spain. Jeering mobs harass a bull with balls of burning tar or turpentine (called "pitch") attached to his horns. A bull%u2019s horns, body and eyes are scorched. Some try to escape hours of agony by smashing into walls.
Archaic spectacles tarnish Spain%u2019s reputation and hinder tourism. I cannot support any society that ignores the senseless brutalization of animals. I will advise others to join me in a boycott of Spanish tourism and commerce until the Toro Jubilo and other blood fiestas are permanently banned.
I urge Spanish officials to enforce stronger animal cruelty laws that shield animals from all forms of abuse, including vulgar rituals and blood fiestas.
While different cultures may not understand each other%u2019s customs, all rational humans comprehend cruelty. Setting fire to a live animal %u2014 known as Toro de Fuego or %u201Cbull on fire%u201D %u2014 is sadistic.
It is time for all regions of Spain to subscribe to the ethical doctrines that shape our civilized world. Heritage, entertainment, art and religion never justify outright torture.
We signed the "FireBull - stop the burning of live Bulls" petition!

No celebration should be carried with the suffering of living creatures. Spain has the bull as a symbol of strength and beauty. Show those values as a standard for the country and stop an embarrassing act of torture that instead reminds us all of the darkest days of Spain.

Our shame will only stop when our incompetent politicians put a stop to the savagery themselves through laws, but this will not happen without pressure from other countries, as they clearly do not listen to us. Until then, our country's Neanderthals will continue to torture and murder for 'fun' while it's legal.
Animals most certainly do feel pain and fear, and anyone who questions it needs their head examined, or needs to go back to school.

This is unbelievable. How can a human being do such a thing and not feel lower than the animal they malign?
Of course animals feel pain and fear.

I just cannot understand how people can do this kind of thing. All life is precious. Animals have feelings too. This is horribly barbaric and should be stopped. These bulls should not have to suffer such pain and suffering for people's entertainment or any reason. I pray you will stop this horrible torture of innocent bulls. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

When are these sick barbaric practices going to stop. We are suppose to be civilized people. Civilized people do not do these sadist things to innocent defenseless animals! A prop in the form of a bull should be used!!!!!!!
Yes! Animals feel pain, hunger and fear!
