The website flexpetz offers the service of 'renting' pets. To some, this seems like a good idea for a person that is unable to have a pet in their house full time or travels a good bit. But, how might this effect the pets?
Not giving an animal a stable environment may negatively effects that animals emotional wellbeing. In the same way confined animals are effected by their environment, not giving these animals a stable environment can also have detrimental effects on their emotions and potential fatal consequences for the involved humans if one of these pets can not take the pressure of this type of a life.

We the undersigned feel that your business may have unintended consequences for both the animals and humans involved.

First, the pets may suffer unintentional emotional damage by not having a single stable environment to live in.

Second, this may adversely effect the humans involved if one of these animals can no longer take the pressure of this type of a life.

Finally, we feel that the use of animals for profit is unacceptable, especially when there is the possibility of emotional damage.

We will continue to feel this way untill you issue a public statement declaring that you are taking the emotional wellbeing of the animals into account and focus more on helping the animals than making money.

There is more at stake here than profit.
