Forestview High School Should Have A Gay-Straight Alliance

North Carolina--and certainly Gaston County--are behind the times. Forestview High School needs to have a Gay-Straight Alliance to provide for the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersexual, asexual, androgynous, and straight ally students. Currently there is no policy or program to protect or provide for these students.
Please sign our petition to convince Principal Robert Carpenter and the Gaston County School Board that Forestview High School needs a Gay-Straight Alliance!
We, the undersigned, petition to have a Gay-Straight Alliance as a club at Forestview High School. We believe that this organization would provide lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, intersexual, androgynous, and straight ally students with an active social and accepting environment that is desperately needed.
