NEW IDEAS FOR A NEW AFRICA
The Forward Ever Backward Never campaign is a movement through which Africans combine their talents, energy and vision to promote new ideas for a new Africa. The Forward Ever Backward Never fund sponsors charitable projects/ideas initiated by young Africans in the Diaspora for their native homelands.

::THE DECLARATION::

We, the undersigned, certify the following ideas and the effort to join forces for the betterment of the African people & continent.

//Ideas for Africa by Africans//

1. Africans as well as those persons of African descent should play a key role in defining and shaping the future of the African continent.

2. All individuals should be integral components in helping Africa reach its full potential. This includes but is not limited to the use of the continents natural and human resources.

3. Those individuals seeking to make a difference in the lives of Africans should come together as a unit, combining their skills, energies, talents, abilities, and knowledge for the production of goods or the rendering of services.

4. Access to clean drinking water should be ensured for all Africans.

5. Africans should increase their knowledge on agriculture and cultivation of energy alternatives in order to maximize self-reliance and decrease environmental strain.

6.  Health and education programs in Africa should be supported and adapted to accomplish the goal of increasing positive leadership and self-sufficiency.

7. Creative incentives and rewards need to be created to have African health professionals stay and practice in the continent as well as attract overseas practitioners  to come to the continent; offering their time and services for the improvement of the health of the people living in the Diaspora.

8. Quality primary and secondary education should not be a privilege but rather a right for all children in Africa, regardless of ability to pay.

9. Innovative employment opportunities should be created for the youth of Africa in all sectors, from technology and engineering, to the fine arts and communications.

10. A network of public libraries should also be established, providing publications for all reading levels to enjoy.

We, the undersigned, endorse The Forward Ever Backward Never Fund & Campaign that aims to sponsor charitable projects initiated by young Africans in the Diaspora for their native homelands.

The issue is that the older generations are exploiting my country Ghana for their self interests. Our infrastructure suffers whiles our political leader’s bank accounts keep rising. Intelligent students are forced to drive tro-tro or become shoe-shine boys while families and friends of our leaders are offered scholarships to come to abroad for vacations. It’s about time we stand up for change. Ghana needs a reformation. Please let us not talk about our national hospitals, our energy, economy, education, sanitation, agriculture, police department, military and fire fighting department. Fact Ghana was a better place to live in twenty years ago than it is today. We had a better system then. My friend got arrested in Ghana a few weeks ago. His criminal record was logged in a piece of notebook. Let us not even get into details because the police department didn’t even get his correct name. So in actuality, he has a clean record. A member of the Big 6 once said “forward ever backwards never” about half a century ago. Last time I checked we haven’t moved forward yet. We are still relying on energy sources which were developed over fifty years ago. We need to stand up for change lets stop wasting our money and time on things that doesn’t matter. Let us stop ignoring matters of our home land. Whiles we here looking for better educational opportunities, we are being robbed blind at night. Open the eyes of your mind, ears, eyes and mouth then you can realize what I’m talking about.

we should learn to invest in Africa and enrich the continent with the knowledge we gain here so we will be able to move forward our continent as we want it........why give contracts to foreigners when we are equipped wit the same knowledge they have...so people let us try to go back home and seek the betterment of our dear continent when we finish with the many degrees and Doctorates....in that way we can be sure to move forward ever and never backwards

WE are the change we seek. We are the "better" leadership we speak of. We are the "civil servants who take their jobs seriously" we yearn for. We are saviors we seek to put money into education and health care... and by we, I mean everyone here who has made a suggestion about what has to be done. So, for every suggestion that one makes on here, I urge that they first think about how they could play a part in effecting that change. Forward ever, backward never!

Get rid of the many corrupt and violent African "big man"/head of states. Also, stop depedence on the West for solving Africa's many challenges. Africans must take pride in themselves and stop the violence (civil wars, false imprisonments, etc.); demand fair treatment and respect for all women, children, elders; ensuring that all children are enrolled in school and have updated text books to study with; put money into hospitals and education; ensure that civil servants to take their jobs seriously and provide faster and more efficient services to clients; and begin to have African countries/citizens benefit from their own resources to build their nations, instead of allowing others/outsiders to take control and benefit from them.

Health care is an issue that needs to be addressed soon within the entire continent. There needs to be a solid foundation so that our continent can grow in a positive way. But first we need to make sure that every one is healthy, whether it's finding ways to prevent the proliferation of diseases or ensuring that people living with chronic diseases can find places in Africa to receive proper care.

There is not enough refugee immigrants into America. War, famine, disease; all impact future genrations of Africans.There is too much influence by Communist China in despotic regimes through out Africa, and not enough American participation in assisting emerging states on that vast continent.

There have been over 9 million refugees and internally displaced people from conflicts in Africa. Hundreds and thousands of people have been slaughtered from a number of conflicts and civil wars.

the in depth of corruption in our governments, this has really impacted negatively and as a result there is moral decay among the leaders. They are bussy competing to grab every small resources that there is and forgeting thierresponsibilities.

The need for more schools(Univ). What happened to all the scholarship programs that brought some of our parents to this country? It used to be easier to get a scholarship to study abroad than it is now. Is it for security reasons?

Idolatry. Africa has broken the first commandment. "Thou shall have no other gods before me". Also, when our leaders our invovled occultism, it makes it hard for a country to move forward. However, I thank God that He has broken the back of the enemy through the blood of Jesus Christ. He's the Hero, and He is coming to the rescue. AFRICA FOR JESUS!!!

The underlying factor of the vicissitued faced by most African countries is hinged on Neo-Colonialism. Bad government still drags it to doomsday, and non-challant attitude towards poverty will bury it to untimely death if selfishness keep getting upper hand.
