Free Drivers Education Classes

Drivers education could save lives. It should be taught on every high school campus, free of charge. it could be taught during the students Physical Education class so it wouldn't cost the school anything extra. Many lives are lost by a careless mistake in an automobile. 
The high school in my town has never offered a course in drivers education. One was offered at the college, 26 miles away for a fee of $300. I could not afford it. I taught both of my children to drive, and I tell them that is where I got all of my grey hairs.
When I was in high school in 1974, they even used a automobile simulator that showed a ball bouncing across the road, teaching you to brake because soon a child followed. Being taught how to react in a skid helps save lives.
Learning to drive will save more lives than a Math class. Drivers Education should be a mandatory class, free of charge, in between Math and Science.
