Imran Khan has been taken captive after General Pervez Musharraf declared a state of emergency.
About 30 policemen charged into his house without any arrest warrants. Imran Khan, Saturday night, strongly criticised President Pervez Musharraf for declaring a state of emergency in Pakistan.
Khan, the chief of the Tehreek-e-Insaaf party, also asked people of the country to resist Musharraf's move and not to recognise the new chief justice appointed by the General.
Musharraf's days were numbered and all democratic forces needed to join hands and bring people out on the streets, he told.
PPP leader and President of the Pakistan Supreme Court Bar Assocation Aitzaz Ahsan also criticised Musharraf for imposing the emergency.
