We have to stand up for what's right,And we do have to face the fact that all Police arn't fair,nor are all citizens but in this case,the locals were threaten by the truth and the truth scares some people.I have seen it many times in Politics and leadership.Some are confronted with The Ego and The GI Joe Mind Set in the Police force.They even fear the fact of Thearphy because of Male Ego.It just happens within the Male. Now I respect ones that live right,do right and works in the commuinity the right way,to help others and not themselves. Some use their Position totaly wrong because of who they think they are. We do have a serious problem in this County here in Arkansas. Our leaders within certain departments are more interested in themselves than face the truth.Even The local Mayor in fact is affraid to face people in a Debate Publically.Amazing isn't it.

Mr. Northup... how interesting to find you here. I remember our email conversations about Mike Kelley and find it sad that you still carry a grudge. Especially now that I have more fully researched what you accuse Mr. Kelley of about which I emphatically say that your wife's accusations against him are unwarranted. He wrote a letter to collect a debt. He was ignored. Thus he wrote to people who know your wife... not nice, I admit... but certainly no different than any bill collector. As I pointed out in our previous conversations, Mr. Kelley is a gruff and cranky old man. He speak harshly sometimes. He, like all of us, dislikes being ignored. However, for the near-decade I have known him he has proven himself to be a kind and gentle man who religiously speaks the truth as he knows and believes it to be. And he is the first to admit when he is wrong. Thus I note that he is on record with a apology to your wife for 'scaring' her and again assert that no matter how course his language to her (or others known to her) may have been, there was never any threat on anyone's life and it is really cruel of you (knowing the other consequences he has already suffered by your wife's action... over some stupid email) to raise such allegations on this petition site. Still, I agree with you: Mike Kelley should not go to jail for growing marijuana.

I am a talk show host. I host the Ted Randall show and a program dedicated to amateur radio. My shows are heard in all 50 states and in all of the largest markets. The people of this country are so tired of crooked law enforcement.
There are so many great and dedicated law enforcement people that put their life on the line each day.
That is the ultimate sacrifice anyone can make for their community and country. It is unspeakable to see a law enforcement agency behave in the way this one has in it's treatment of this situation.
The conduct by this law enforcement agency needs to be completely investigated and the guilty of abuse prosecuted and jailed.
I am going to take to the airwaves and tell this story.
