The creatures kept at Splashdown Park.

Free the mistreated animals at Splashdown park!

Target:
Splashdown Park
Sponsored by:
There are various animals at Splashdown park, in Fishkill, NY.

One of which is a baby alligator. This creature is kept in a tank that can be no larger than 6' by 3'. Inside the tank are woodshavings, and a small shallow pan of water.

Every day, this poor creature is stared at, and tapped at by little children, for it is in an arcade. That's right, right next to a jungle gym, meant for children 8 years old and under. I've experienced first hand the noisiness encountered there.

Here you can see a pictures of the creatures:

While I was at the Park, I happened to see some of the staff attempting to clean the tank. They told people to 'Back away, she gets angry.' This staff did not look like animal specialists in the least, I assume they are normal staff, since they work in a waterpark.

At Splashdown, there are also snakes and other various animals, in not much better condition.

Sign this petition to free these poor creatures. Tell Splashdown to either:
1) Get better conditions for their animals, or
2) Give them to a reserve, or zoo that CAN.

Please help the poor creatures living at Splashdown, a water park and amusement place. Here is Splashdown's website:

Free these animals!
We the undersigned,

think that you should either move the animals featured in the "Reptile Exhibit" to a better and larger area. I have seen firsthand when I visited your park the animals be prodded and bothered. Please move them out of the arcade, and into bigger areas, so they can move around, especially the alligator. Or, give them to a facility such as a reserve or zoo that can take care of them properly.

Thank you for taking the time to read the letter.

Would you consider going to Splashdown Park with the condition in which the animals are being treated?

Splashdown release your animals please. There living arrangements suck and what is a water park doing w/animals anyway? Stick to what you know water rides & free the reptiles you have at your park. Give them the home they deserve!
