We, the undersigned, declare our protest to the Chinese Communist government and to the Olympic Committee and to 2008 Olympic Corporate Sponsors :

The imprisonment and abuse of the Tibetan political prisoners must end now.

The recent arrests and imprisonment of thousands of Tibetans has highlighted a 50 year rule of terror by the Chinese in the Tibetan provinces.

Due to the inhumane treatment of the Tibetan people - we can not support the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. If China can not reconcile with the Tibetans in good faith by releasing these political prisoners, then we shall globally boycott the 2008 Olympics, and the Olympic Corporate Sponsors.

Free the Tibetan Political Prisoners now.

Please cancel those games! The IOC's action and inaction has only rewarded a country that oppresses it's own people. Having the Games in Germany did not prevent war and it will not promote goodness in the Chinese machine either. You say you are not political but the games are about promoting understanding... what has the IOC done to promote understanding here? All I can see is that it promotes the understanding that "money makes the world go round."
