The Plan
1. Our goal is to STOP SEX SLAVERY IN RWANDA.
2. We are currently providing alternative means of income, health care, counseling, and education for Rwanda's former SEX SLAVES, which represent Rwanda's most vulnerable group of women.
3. Now we must reform the laws on "PROSTITUTION" so the CLIENTS OR "JOHNS" are held accountable for their actions.
WE MUST MAKE IT ILLEGAL FOR MEN TO PURCHASE WOMEN FOR SEX!
The Reality
In Rwanda, PROSTITUTION is not a choice; it's a means of survival by engaging in the most degrading and abusive occupations known to this world just to survive and feed their hungry babies. IT IS SLAVERY, AT ITS VERY WORST.
*We have already made it from the Ministry of Justice, on to the Cabinet, and now to Parliament! (The Rwandan Parliament has the largest percentage of FEMALE Parliamentarians in the world at 48%)
**SWEDEN IMPLEMENTED A SIMILAR PLAN 7 YEARS AGO AND IT REDUCED PROSTITUTION BY 80% OVER A 5 YEAR PERIOD, WHILE EMPOWERING THE WOMEN TO BECOME FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT, SUCCESSFUL MOTHERS.
November 19th, 2007 - WE'VE ALREADY GATHERED ALMOST 2,000 SIGNATURES IN RWANDA AND ON OTHER WEBSITES BUT WE NEED 8,000 MORE BY FEBRUARY 2008 WHEN WE MEET WITH PARLIAMENT.

Along with all women in this world today, I beg you to make it illegal in your country for men to purchase women for sexual purposes. This practice de-humanizes, degrades and destroys a woman's soul. It must stop!!!

I WATCHED A ABC NEW PROGRAM ABOUT SLAVERY OF CHILDREN IN hAAITI. aT THE END OF THE PROGRAM IT STATED THAT THERE ARE AT LEAST 27MILLION!!!!
