From Freedom to Forgiveness

This petition is designed to enlighten society of the injustices carried out upon ex-felons and convicts in America. Also to, upon revealing these indiscrepancies, ask for their support in standing against the bias and discriminatory intent of policies (albeit insurance, private sector organizations, business, etc..) that make the exclusion of ex-felons and those convicted of a crime beneficial to the holders of such policies. The issue being addressed has, and still is, affecting nearly every family across the United States. Implying that, though mistakes are made by everyone, (young and old, incompetent and competent) forgiveness is only shown before a mistake is handled judicially. Otherwise the burden rests solely on that citizen which committed the infraction to carry for the remainder of their lives. This is not a display of justice but that of "just it." (as in, it is what it is..) This petition asks you to help help the citizens that suffer past their consequences and show the world that " We the People" are progressive... We move forward... We "Forgive."

"We the under signed" believe that insurance policies that single out ex-felons and/or convicts as liabilities, and increases the rates (to wit, penalizing the purchaser thereof) of potential employers of the said ex-felon/convict, are unfair.   Also, we believe that these actions directly and advertently affect the successful productivity of ex-felons, in that it (the policies) incites bias while utterly dissipating any opportunity for an ex-felon to be considered for hire. Our aim is to, through our philanthropy and combined support (one from another), create a voice loud enough to be heard throughout government, that we might have this problem addressed or,ultimately, resolved.  Become a part of this vital move of awareness.  Join us, who believe, that after "Freedom" there should be "Forgiveness."  Your time is very much appreciated, but your support is undeniably priceless.  Thank you.
