Legalise Gay Marriage In Ireland

Petition to legalise civil marriage for same-sex couples in Ireland.

This petition aims to outline that Civil Partnership is not enough, as  it does not go far enough to ensure equality.

Civil Partnerships do not allow same-sex couples the same set of rights afforded to married partners.  Please sign the petition to afford same-sex partners full rights to civil marriage as it is currently enjoyed by many opposite-sex couples.

Thank You.

We the undersigned, desire it to be made law that any consenting adults, regardless of their respective genders, may enter into legally recognised marriage.

We oppose the establishment of 'Civil Partnerships'.  We wish for same-sex couples in Ireland to have equal right to full civil marriage.

You are the minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform.  To discriminate against individuals based solely on sexuality any longer, is to deny those individuals their basic right to equality.

We thank you for taking the time to read this.
