Currently if I want to buy an electric truck for my business, my choices are all built and imported from China. We need to encourage manufacturing of electric vehichles here in the U.S. Pretty soon this whole country is going to be a Chinese province.

Arguments such as the electric cars will be too costly or not go far enough on a charge are as valid as the argument that we would never have machines (planes) that can fly. We should provide monies to enterpreneurial firms to encourage building more effective/efficient electric car battteries. When the first TVs and CPUs came out they had great limitations. Changes in technology lead to greater demand and lower prices.

What were they thinking when they sabatoged the American public? I hope another car company comes out with a model and leaves GM in the dust. America does not need another non-renewal fuel. America needs the electric car.
