This one-hour weekday broadcast provides in-depth, timely coverage of a broad range of domestic and international subject matter, featuring interviews with presidents and dissidents, activists and artists, whistleblowers and poets, as well as with local people most affected by decisions of the powerful.
Democracy Now! fully complies with the goals of WYCC-TV as outlined in its mission statement. Once established in the WYCC daily schedule, we who currently watch Democracy Now! on local cable will wholeheartedly support your station because of its newly demonstrated commitment to independence, integrity and diversity; and those of us without cable will appreciate the opportunity to view this important program. Democracy Now! truly belongs on Chicagoland%u2019s public television.
