- Local North Muskegon family, whose daughter is battling Leukemia and is in need of finical support. - The DeVos Children%u2019s Hospital in Grand Rapids. Patients are in need of gas cards and activities, because usually their stay is not short. - Renucci Hospitality House, which is a %u201Chome away from home%u201D for the families of patients at the DeVos center. Our class plans on making a dinner for the families staying at the Renucci house, and along with donating supplies, such as, toiletries and activities.%uFFFD - Mission For Area People%u2019s new Medical Support Program. This program assists families that cannot afford their prescriptions or medical bills.%uFFFD
Here what last years Goal succeeded in with many local events. The raised over 10,000Sell t-shirts for $10.00 The t-shirts are short sleeve, black, with our logo on the front, and silver wings and ribbon (representing cancer) on the back.%uFFFD - If you wish to have your t-shirt mailed, the cost is $12.00 (T-shirts are made by ADMARK)
* Host our home girls basketball game, February 19th, to get the community involved. - T-shirts will be sold at the game, as well as raffles.%uFFFD
**OUR CELEBRATION! Get Your Wings will be hosting an event at North Muskegon%u2019s Flex Center FEBUARY 21ST from 2-4 pm -Lake Affect will be performing! (Brett Kerr and Brodie Seyferth) -Poetry Out Loud (national competition, NMHS students will be competing, see Mrs. Seyferth if you would like to join) - Concessions, t-shirts, and raffles will be sold. TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE SOON!
