Community Colleges are well placed to lift us out of the environmental and economic crisis by training the next generation of green industry workers. As CCSF prepares to launch a green job training program we call for the use of CCSF campuses as on-site labs to train our students for careers in the green economy. This will implement much needed green upgrades for our college as well as give students marketable skills, such as solar panel installation, energy and water audits, waste management and sustainable, native landscaping. Our campus will become a healthy and green center of education for the 21st century while training future green collar workers.
Please join us in calling on our campus community to come together to develop curriculum which implements sustainability at our college!
