The State of Texas, the 5th Circuit Federal Court of Appeal, and now the Supreme Court, has repeatedly denied Greg the right to a new trial at which the issues of innocence and other Constitutional and procedural matters, including denial of the confrontation clause concerning Adams statement, wrongly introduced at the trial, could be addressed. This denial threatens to make a mockery of Justice, and brings the prospect of the execution of an innocent man. Greg has been sentenced to death for crimes that were committed and confessed to by John Wade Adams who was also, later, tried and convicted for the murder of Donna Vick.

It is very disillusional to think that the people who are making these charges are as English-literate as the college degrees that they have purchased say they are. You must be able to read & understand the English language, then more complicated stuff like understanding the facts of a case and pure logic will fall into place. America's judicial and correctional system is no more modern or just than any other country, it just costs more here. I don't think there is a way for little honest people to correct the problem and rehabilitate a system that is only interested in making an arrest so to cause the unit they work in to look as if they are actually working and making results. It all boils down to their job security and nothing else. Got a hole, need to stick a peg in it, grab a peg, any ole' peg will do, and AAAAHHHHHH...the situation is solved...time to move on to the next one....after the pat on the back, of course, and possible raise for job well done. This is America...don't kid yourself about having any rights....It costs $$$$ to have rights here....

I read articles on this case; how could they do this and live with themselves? If the jeans did not fit Mr. Wright and the blood found on the jeans did not match his, less Donna Vick's blood, then it seems that he would be innocent. He passed a polygraph test and has stated several times that he is innocent. How could they be so persistent to give the death penalty to an innocent man, but in many cases they let criminals that actually kill live a free life. It's not right; however, God knows the truth and I'm sure that if they succeed at destroying this life of Gregory Wright, then I'm sure God has other plans and will greatly bless his new life and the lives of those that love him that he left behind. Be of great courage and I hope that this is overturned, but if not, please know that this is not the end.

I know that you have seen my friends, and family protesting outside of the capitol for Greg Wright, and for many others in the last several months. I know that you are a busy man, but your job is to protect the citizens of Texas, not to kill them! By allowing the death penalty to continue, you have become a murderer as well because you have the power to stop it, and you don't. In Texas, we call that the law of parties, so by our law...you should be on the row as well! I do not want to be rude, but that is a fact. People with the kind of power you have can do 1 of 2 things: they can use it for the good of man, or they can use it to promote their own agenda. The men and women on death row, are people...flesh and blood...and are entitled to certain rights...the first being the right to live. I understand that all people on the row are not innocent, and that they should pay for their crimes, but Greg is innocent and does not deserve to die, let alone be in jail. I am writing you Governor Perry because I want you to know that the legal system in Texas is deeply flawed, and innocent people are awaiting death for murders they did not commit. There are almost 100 law of party cases in Texas alone, and then there are people like Greg, who did not commit murder, and have the evidence to prove it, but that evidence is not taken into consideration because that would of course look bad for everyone involved in the railroading. Prosecutors need to look out for their neighbor; not put people away to further their win-loss record! You have the power to right this wrong, please use it!

If Texas cannot stop the death penalty altogether, it should at least slow down! There is no reason to create a death factory that outpaces by 100s all other states that allow the death penalty.
