We need to have guns in our national parks. Its is scientifically proven that all U.S. legally licensed hand gun owners (with permits) are good citizens. Why risk your life?

Dear U.S. Congress,
We have need of many things at this particular year, but just like every year. Recently there has been talk of getting rid of loaded guns in the United States National Parks. We question whether or not we need loaded guns in our parks. There are many potential hazards, just like there are many benefits.
If we allow this to happen there is a very small chance that one of our citizens will kill something, like an animal or person. But what if we didn't allow loaded guns in our national parks? A person could walk up to you and pretend to be helping you but boom like that, they strangle you and kill you because they knew no loaded weapons were allowed, which made you an easy target.
If we get rid of loaded guns in our national parks, they don't we need to get rid of guns altogether? If we get rid of guns in our national parks, we assume that we need to get rid of guns in our nation altogether. If a U.S. citizen owns a gun, the government then must track them down and take their guns that they legally own, but before the government can do even that, they must get rid of the second amendment, do we not? The Second Amendment clearly states that we can bear arms. Simple. How can we the government, we the people, misinterpret that?
If we get rid of the U.S. citizens guns, that means we have to get rid of police mens' guns, the S.S. and everything. That would create havoc. The United States would no longer be what it was. Save us. Save the people. Save yourselves. We don't want to be remembered as the idiots that went down shamely, but we want to be remembered as the ones who stood up and led everyone.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Simple as that....

Why has the opposing argument have over 6000 signatures?! Come on people, were the smart ones that they'll come to when their delicate system collapses. We have a responsibility to protect every constitutional right! Spread the word!

Just shoot first and do not bother asking questions. Just kill everything and then we won't have anything, maybe that will make some of you gunslingers happy!

The thought of guns in National Parks is frightening, preposterous, and ludicrous. This country is already too deep in citizen firepower, in the name of self-defense, and to keep the gun-toters of the NRA appeased in their so-called "rights" under the 2nd Amendment. This is pure hogwash in the worst sense! You guys scare the hell out of me.
