HARTZ KILLS, and nobody can do anything about it ???
Feb. 09, for the first time our cat "Skeeter Bug" got fleas. I ran to Walmart to pick up something to help her. I used the Hartz flea drops on her, the next day I thought I was going to lose her ! She was having a seizure, muscles contracted, as she tried to run, laying on her side, eyes rolled in the back of her head, foaming at the mouth. I had no idea what it could be from, the first thing I thought was rabies! She just had another seizure, (that I witnessed), April 5th! How many has she had when nobody was here to hold her while she suffered ??
After researching, I found out this has happened to millions of pets everywhere! Infact at HartzVictims.org , there are letters upon letters of pet owners saying what has happened to their pets. Many of which were not as "LUCKY" as our "Skeeter Bug", they have died, or suffered so badly they had to be put down ! I just keep praying that our cats' seizures don't get worse ! I am outraged that our cat has to suffer for the rest of her life because of a company who makes a product claiming to help our pets, hurt them, and kill them ! It breaks my heart to think of all the heartache and pain these products have caused !

We need to get the word out to every pet owner !!! We need to stop the suffering of our beloved pets !!!!! Please sign this and pass it on to as many pet owners and future pet owners as you can ! BOYCOTT these products for the love of our pets!

stop being lazy and cheap and go get some frontline
Same type thing happened when I used this product on my 6 yr old beagle mix. He couldn't walk, hold up his head, I thought he was dying. I took the garden hose and sprayed him as much as I could trying to get it off. Thank the Lord he recovered. I had a puppy that seized for days due to this product as well.
Our family cat is at the vets as we speak due to using the Hartz flea drops. I used it on my dog and 2 cats but only one got sick. She climbed in bed with me and was shaking and twitching quite bad. I layed there with her and petted her to see if she would stop but did not. I then starting worrying about the other animals. Mia usually sleeps with me but she was not on the bed. I couldnt find her so I started shaking the treat container. She came running and looked fine. I went to give Puddie a treat but she was shaking so bad she couldnt eat it. This is were i really started to panic cause she loves treats and usually comes running, eats her and tries to get Mia's. I was petting her when she just stretched out and shook uncontrably, drooling and unrinated on the bed. I made the kids stay out cause I was sure she was dying. I petted her and told her we loved her and we were not ready to loose her. She came out of it and we all rushed to the vet with our pjs on. Once we discussed things and I told them the flea medication I used they knew exactly what was wrong. They explained that they have had so many cases of animals coming in and some actually died from using Hartz's drops on thier pets. They bathed her and I had to go and borrow money from my parents to pay the $400 bill. I would have done anything to find the money. She is now on IV and valum. The was not sure she was going to make it. I called to see how she was doing. They changed her meds cause she was still having bad muscle spasms. Since the new medication she seems to be doing better. I can only pray that she will be ok. I just wish i would have researched it before I bought it. I blame myself.
why is this still on the market? who is responsible for recalling this sort of product? all a big company understands is money.i say hit them where it hurts and try to get their product pulled from the shelves.
