Ben's art has been an inspiration to me since I first encountered it some years ago. Regardless of the identity of the artist, I feel that what DeviantArt has done sends the wrong message to both artists and enthusiasts, and I'd like to see DeviantArt courteously and sincerely admit its mistake, reinstate Ben, end censorship altogether, make such actions as this a matter for PUBLIC DEBATE, and thereby continue to live up to its name and carry on setting a good example for the community. Ben Heine is one of the most inspiring and talented young artist. His work might be political and a little critical, but it is expressive and very effective. I have seen way too many worst paintings/pictures on deviant art which are both tasteless and vulgar and has no message, and they never been banned. Respect the artist.
