Calgary City Hall wants to reduce the time that drivers idel their vehicles at least one or two minutes per day in an effort to reduce the amount of green houses gases that ideling vehicles cause. The city has no plans however, to elevate the C-train to above ground which would reduce the amount of time that drivers currently have to wait for the C-trains to clear ground intersections. Designing an aerial track at each end of downtown for the C-train to exit the downtown corridor, would not only assist the vehicle traffic flow, it would reduce the idling time that ground traffic would have to sit and wait for the C-train, thereby reducing the greenhouse gases AND getting daily commuters home earlier.
IF you think that it%u2019s time that Calgary transit and City Hall stepped up to the plate and did something that will help reduce the traffic pollution. Please endorse with your signature.
