Child Victim of Mugabe's Violence

No Amnesty No Immunity for Robert Mugabe

Target:
The MDC President - Morgan Tsvangirai

For the past twenty-eight years, Robert Mugabe presided over a corrupt government and led a violent political party that has systematically murdered, tortured and deliberately brutalised Zimbabwe civilians. Multitudes of innocents are dead, mutilated and psychologically scarred in their quest for real democracy and freedom.

The peaceful citizens of Zimbabwe through the International Criminal Court (ICC) and other world judicial systems have charged Robert Mugabe in his individual and personal capacity with Crimes against Humanity (Persecution, Murder and Inhumane Acts), Grave Breaches of the Geneva Conventions and Violations of the Laws or Customs of War and numerous other crimes.

Robert Gabriel Mugabe is individually criminally responsible for heinous crimes that include Gukurahundi-the massacre of over 20 000 Ndebele people of Matebeleland, Murambatsvina the demolition of over 700 000 homes, the embezzlement and looting of national assets etc., which he planned, instigated, ordered, committed, or in whose planning, preparation, or execution he otherwise aided and abetted.

All criminals must have their day in court.

Robert Mugabe  and his cronies are  unrepentant war criminals who do not deserve immunity from prosecution.

We the undersigned, humbly beseech you not to contemplate, or to prematurely offer, or erroneously bestow a blanket amnesty or immunity from prosecution to Robert Mugabe and his cronies for the crimes they committed against the innocent populace in Zimbabwe.

Democracy and justice are the casualties of any immunity or amnesty deal with Robert Mugabe and the inclusion of a known brutal dictator in any role in government in a  New Zimbabwe is ill advised, threatens regional peace and subverts the will of the people.

We thank you for acknowledging our grave concerns and  hope you are guided accordingly.

bob mugabe is a murderer of his own people, he has destroyed the country and it will take many years after his passing, even to get it back to a form of normality

no immunity for bob or his people - why has he never been arrested for crimes against humanity, on his frequent foreign trips? it stinks.

When I think of the mayor of Zimbabwe, whose young wife was murdered in front of their 5 year old son, when I think of all the wives who lost their husbands, the ophans, due to Mugabe's cruelty and state sponsored violence,

I feel that justice must be done. This is evil and it should come to an end. Mugabe should not be given immunity. He is no more important than the people that he murdered.

Robert Mugabe and his cronies are unrepentant war criminals who do not deserve immunity from prosecution.

Definitely not - he needs to be tried in a court of law

Mugabe is responsible for cold blooded murder, nobody who kills should escape the law, especially one who has abused his position of power and deliberately been responsible for the deaths of 10's of thousands.

If Mugabe receives immunity then that will send a message out to any other tin pot dictators that they will be able to get away with murder.

Not withstanding his grueling torture and murder Mugabe was offered enough time and chance to repent. Even now we all know he has not, he should face the music. Let us not set the wrong precedent to to Africa, the rest of the world and our future generations by forgiving voluntary perpetrators.

i live in a country that has been going through similar problems to Zimbabwe, even though not as advanced in violent corruption. i do feel with its people. Zim was the breadbasket of africa, and now people are dying of hunger... in addition to having know a friend from Zim and could see the pain Mugabe has inflicted on the people through his eyes

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO Never, call me a softy but he and his folowers should be Hung publicly. and everyone else in the world that supports him and protects him. that should be the punishment for stealing the people's wealth....
