HELP FREE MARTY ALSTON!!

Marty A. Alston is a 25 yr. old US military veteran that proudly served his country as a firefighter in the United States Air force for 4 years. He was stationed in the states as well as over seas. He is highly certified in his field and has numerous letters of award and certifications. He is a loving and dedicated father as well as a loyal and upstanding friend, family member, and co-worker. Overall, Marty Allan Alston is an admirable member of society.

This man has NO prior record, yet on May 11th, 2007, Marty Allan Alston was tried and charged with kidnapping, robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm, criminal restraint, theft by unlawful taking, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose and assault with a deadly weapon. Crimes he was accused of when he was WRONGFULLY arrested in 2005. This is a terrible injustice that needs to be corrected.

The TRUTH is that Marty Allan Alston was the victim of a violent, gang related carjacking/kidnapping. One of the men was tried with Marty Alston as a co-defendant and the other was made out, by the prosecution, to be the victim of this crime (a crime that was ACTUALLY committed against Mr. Alston ).The supposed "victim", is an active gang member/drug dealer and has been in and out of prison his entire life due to drug/gang related charges. It is believed that this too was a drug/gang related crime. There were several other gang members involved in this carjacking none of which were ever caught, brought to trial, or prosecuted. This has been a corrupt case from the beginning. The trial was rescheduled several times due to the prosecutions lack of evidence in their case against Mr. Alston, and at first, failure to produce witnesses and, even, a victim. There is evidence that corroborates Marty Alston's plea of innocence. Evidence that was twisted and turned against Marty by the prosecution. Even the "victim" testified,eliminating Marty from any participation in the supposed kidnapping/assault. Still Marty was found guilty and is currently in jail awaiting sentencing. He is facing 30 years while his assailants roam free terrorizing the city.

It is obvious and quite clear that the justice system has failed Marty Alston miserably.This man served his country dutifully and is now being treated like a common criminal. We will not stand for this! We as the public and on behalf of our community want justice to be served! We place our hearts, faith, and soul, into our justice system without doubt, yet our faith in our government's dedication to truth has been betrayed! Is this really a society where the innocent, including military veterans that fought for and served our country, are found guilty and put in prison, while the guilty go free? We care about our community and people like Marty Allan Alston that make our community whole. It is a tragic day in America when an injustice like this can be performed without an objection from the public. Fortunately the truth CANNOT be buried forever! We the people find Marty Allan Alston NOT GUILTY of the charges brought against him and DEMAND that justice be served! FREE MARTY ALSTON!!
