HELP KEEP AN INNOCENT MOM/VICTIM FREE!

Melissa and her children lived with abusers and domestic violence for nearly 9 years. After escaping one abuser and going to a domestic violence shelter they soon found themselved with another. One who promised to make life better for them. He failed to disclose that he had multiple prior convictions of child abuse and battery. After 40 short days the man who promised them so much robbed them of everything. He fatally beat Melissa's 4 year old daughter. Melissa's 6 year old son was taken into foster care and is now in the custody of his father which was Melissa and her childrens' first abuser! His cries for help go ignored when told to child services by Melissa's family and Melissa now faces going to prison for Neglect/Failure To Protect her daughter. After being so traumatized from the many years of abuse Melissa and her children endured she suffered greatly from PTSD and Battered Woman Syndrome. Melissa was physically and mentally prevented from helping her daughter. He would watch her every move and make threats if she ever wanted to go outside of the house alone. He ruled that house with an iron fist and kept everyone living in constant fear. As a result, he and Melissa were arrested. He has plead guilty and remains in jail where he belongs. Melissa has an upcoming trial and could face 40 years in prison if convicted.
Please help keep an innocent mom/victim free! Allow her to reunite with her son! Melissa does not belong in jail! She is not a criminal, Her and her children are victims and do not deserve this!
