This petition is being started for the sole purpose of preventing private ownership of big cats in EVERY state in America. Surprisingly enough, almost 1/3 of the United States still allows private ownership of big cats. These animals are meant to be free and live free, they are NOT meant to be pets and they are definitely not here on earth to entertain us in any way.
The following video perfectly showcases why I started this petition and why these animals should not be privately owned The man in this video, Dennis Hill, does not have the resources, the enrichment or the habitat these animals so desperately need. Plus, the enclosures are very small and not conducive to the needs of a big cat.

Please know that I am not affiliated with any organization, I am simply an animal rights advocate with a deep respect and admiration of these magnificent animals. I will be sending this petition to as many Senators and Legislators as I can, in addition to my targets listed above.. I will also be sending this petition to the President of the United States.
