Help Keep Nursing Home Open

Target:
Unjust judgement on nursing home
Sponsored by:
We, the undersigned, do hereby petition the State of Virginia for Long Term Care Surveyors for reconsideration of your last inspections at Autumn Care of Norfolk Facility in June and August, 2009.
The deficiencies you cited in your report did not warrant such harsh action from your staff for this excellent facility. In addition, we wholeheartedly believe that your decision was subjective, unfair, and without due or honest cause. As residents, volunteersm family members, visitors, and concerned individuals we can truthfully find no reason that any actions or deeds have been performed here that has or is juopardizing any patient's health care, well being, or social growth. Requesting and pleading that you immediately remove the immediate jeopardy deficiencies you have documented against us and that you will have mercy on us, who cannot help ourselves. The signatures below represent the individuals protesting the findings.
Thank you in advance for any cooperation, you will give this matter.

Picking on the little man again I see. Its the little man/woman you should be protecting and giving them a home that they love, to live out the rest of their lives. What kind of people are you to now threaten to take it away from them? How many of these people fought for your freedom Virginia? Is this your show of thanks to them? Some of them have no place to go, some have called this home for so long and you want to kick them to the curb. What do you have to gain, did you sell the land to build a mall?
