Help lower Ga's drinking age to 18

Target:
Georgians
Sponsored by:
The alcohol laws are different state by state so we need Georgians to help change the drinking age to 18 instead of 21. Everyone should help be part of the movement. Just remember everyones signature counts so tell everyone.

If people of the U.S. can sign teir lives away for the military at age 18, they should be able to have a drink. Why are they considered adult enough to handle a rifle but not adult enough to handle vodka? Also, If alchohol wasnt such a novelty to young ones under 21, it wouldnt be cool anymore. It would take thefunout of it. Kids only want to drink becasue they are not allowed to !!!

The youth in America's society today drink illegally because the hype around it is extreme. If it is made to be a big deal... something the CANNOT do, they will try their hardest to do it. Stop the vicious cycle. What happens in those three years to make the young adult more responsible anyway? I am 18 and more mature and responsible than many people older than me.

I am in the United States Marines, and would love to see this pass. It is ridiculously unjust and hypocritical to assume that an 18 year old is capable of fighting and dying for his or her country, but incapable of drinking an alcoholic beverage. It doesn't make sense, and frankly the age limit on drinking stems from a by-gone era of pointless religious dogmatic fear. So lower the drinking age, no harm in it.

If your allowed to serve in the military or vote at 18, you should be able to drink.

Yeahhh, Drink till your brain is gone. The sooner the better. But do that only at home and do not bother other people.

If you can fight and die in a war at 18, you should be allowed to drink.

There are plenty of people over 21 making dumb decisions with alcohol. Any 18-year-old has the potential to be just as responsible as a 21-year-old. Let these beer companies start making some REAL money!

If you can fight in a war, you can drink a beer.

I am from Germany where everyone drinks by the age of 16 and i see less alcohol violence there than here and i think the reason is because the teenagers here are mad about the law of having to be 21 to drink so they drink extra amounts and start loosing control.

Probably makes sense in light of heavy high schooler drinking. Ok as long as safety with drinking is emphasized!

I feel that in our country, 18 years old are held responsible for many things and are expected to act as "adults". As adults 18 year olds should have the right to drink alcohol. At 18 you are tried as an adult in a court of law, you are allowed to vote for who will be leading the country, and most importantly; you are allowed to enlist in the military and fight for our country.

IMHO,the drinking age needs to be raised to age 25.An 18 year old is still a child and certainly does not need alcohol influencing their actions!

I believe the drinking age should be lowered to help teach younger people proper drinking responsibility.
